Have a beer bet going with a buddy Was Harold Ives Billiard record ever broken?? How close to it or by how much ?? Thanks Johnny Yeah, did you make this guy up? I only found one mention of Harold Ives...I'll provide the link :) What's the alleged record, anyway? Don't ask any questions I don't know the answer to and can't look up. Also, if it's an opinion question you want to ask, make sure it's a topic about which I might have an opinion :) p.s. Hubby hadn't heard of him either...But a couple of weeks ago, we were playing this (drinking) game called Categories (yes, I'm actually 18 :) ), and the category was professional pool players, and I said Eddie Taylor, and he said "The Knoxville Bear!
