I was wondering where the Burton Escapade binding were made in... cause on my snowboard it's written-handmade in canada.. are the bindings from Canada too?
Sad to say, but most things any snowboard company makes are from China. Labor is cheaper over there, so it's more profitable for the company. There are some brands that make their boards in the US or Canada. Some of those brands are Never Summer, GNU, Lib Tech, and Rome. There are some others, but most have their boards and stuff made in China, and maybe a few top of the line snowboards in Canada or the US.
That's why GNU, Rome, and Lib Tech are my favorite snowboard brands: They make their stuff in the US, or at least Canada

Most of Burtons gear is made in China. Only a select number of top boards come from Canada. Sorry China all the way.
