Im having toruble putting my burton custom bindings on my board...help!? Well that's pretty weird, because Burton bindings normally fit any hole pattern. If it were a Burton board, and another kind of bindings, that would make sense because Burton discs fit any hole pattern but the hole pattern on Burtons is designed only to fit Burton bindings. Maybe you're using the wrong hole part of the disc. If it's a Burton board, line it up using the three-hole pattern, if not line up the traditional pattern. You could always go online for a diagram of some kind. Source(s): 3 years snowboarding. i had a person put it on for me....bring it to a place that specializes in boards I had trouble the first time i tried putting bindings on my board. You might wanna see if first the screw can fit in the hole, if it doesn't seem to go in...theres your problem, and make sure your bindings aren't damaged or cracked. There should also be a small metal thing that can slide back and forth right in the screw hole of the bindings, it doesn't look like it can move, but it really can. what i did was take a screw driver and just pushed it untill i saw the hole underneath the binding then i screwed it in. I hope that helped a little. If it isn't a Burton board it won't work. Burton uses a 3 hole system that many other brands don't. You just may be confused too. Take it to a board shop or read the put together manual more closely. Good Luck! Buy a phillips head screwdriver and line up the holes Einstein. |
