What are some of the closest snowboarding resorts, open year round, to San Diego, CA? |
What are some of the closest snowboarding resorts, open year round, to San Diego, CA? The only resort even somewhat close to you that is open year round in Mt.Hood in Oregon. Otherwise, you could go to Whistler/Blackomb, Chili, Argentina, or New Zealand:) Happy snowboarding. I don't know about year round (unless you try the indoor thing in Japan) But for winter no place rocks better than Sun Valley, ID. Great runs on Baldy or easy kickin' on Dollar. Actually the Honda Ski Tour came here this winter and it was incredible! The Super Pipe is amazing. One of the biggest I have seen. Anyways, if you want top notch and blue skies Sun valley is the way to go. Happy boarding. Well, besides rumors that an indoor ski area wud be made in huntington beach, the closest is Mt. Hood, a mere 16 hour drive ; ) Mt Hood. Check before you go they close late Aug through the start of the first snow. ummm...i don't think it snows year round....but maybe mt.high? big bear? |
