Aloha !!! my friends
surf's been pretty crappy lately. try el porto, it gets pretty decent out there. or just check out surfline.com before you head out, and check the spots that are around you.
around the ventura area is pretty fun
Malibu is legendary! But all the good places are pretty crowded. I live in Orange County, and Huntington Beach is great and not far from L.A. - the main beach is crowded, but Golden West is a nice spot (it's a dog beach, which is really fun). To the south, Trestles is also legendary, but crowded and hard to get to. My favorite spots are Cardiff and San Elijo State Park in northern San Diego County; access is easy, parking isn't bad, and they're not all that crowded.
Is this question for real ? I hope not.

If it is than take up another sport.

Go get a real job inland somewhere.
