Who is the better Aussie Surfer? |
The Great Mark "Occy" Occhilupo or Mick Fanning. Please answer only if you have seen both Occy and Mick surf. Years ago I saw Occy tearing Jeffreys bay apart, with Tom Caroll. Ya gotta go for Occy..... Mick Fanning rips though. Occy. He's the man. Too bad he retired. Occy's a very powerful surfer (especially with backside turns), and has a lot of style. Fanning's more efficient in making any wave and just "getting the job done". Good comp surfer..., but Occy's more about "soul". I'll go for Occy. But Taj is the most beautiful and technical one if I may say.... occy's turns are gnarly, so i like occy better Occy is my fav but both have skill. |
