Can you surf with a boogie board? |
Stand up and surf on big waves hell yeah!! i didnt know that at first until i went on youtube.com to check it out and i found this awesome video. it's not somthing u see everyday: <http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=saj542nsg... I tried that but im kind of heavy so it didn't work for me. Just lay your body on it and surf the wave that way, man. It's hella fun too. I'm so good at it. I can get ANY wave. Well I'm only 13 so I can't get like really super big waves (there arent any here in Cali anyway) but I can get big waves so I'm pretty good. yes if u put wax on it and have good balance Yes, you can surf on a boogie board. That's how I learned how to surf. I couldn't afford a surfboard, but my brother had an old, beat up bodyboard, so that's how I learned. There's another person who learned how to surf on a boogie board...you might know him. He goes by the name Kelly. Kelly Slater. So no fear, bro. Surf your heart out on that boogie board. Surfer since 1998 Yes you can. Give you couple names Brian Pacheco is one of Hawaii's best surfers he hails from my home town of Makaha,HI. He is one of the first to perfect standing up on a body board. First time I saw him was out at Keahu beach park, he was just ripin it like a mad man on that body board. Another name comes to mind is Danny Kim who also hails from Makaha many say he was the very first to perfect standing up on a body board. Mike Stewart another one. Kainoa Mcgee. List goes on and on. I can do it so can anybody else. Thats how I started surfing in the mid 1980's. ( yes I'm old ) |
