What is the best wetsuit brand for Diving/Surfing? |
I'm looking for the most comfertable wetsuit for Diving and Surfing. I'm getting a full wetsuit 4/5mm. What's the best brand for price, quality, comfort, and durability? Oneill, makes the best wetsuits that I have ever used. Comfortable, flexible and warm. I was able to stay in the water for an extended period of time after purchasing my Oneill 3:2 hammer full suit. I would say definitely look at Oneill and possibly Rip Curl if you don't see anything you like. Sounds like you need some comparisons. The best source for wetsuit info, in my experience, is Scuba Magazine. They test and review gear constantly: http://www.scubadiving.com/wetsuits... Most folks don't want the same suit for both as surfing specific wetsuits sometimes have a less wear proof outer lining and don't hold up as well. If you are going to get one suit, get a high quality one like O'Neill and plan to pay about $300. http://www.oneill.com/ I've always liked bodyglove. a 4/5 wet suit is pretty thick and hard to move around probably good for diving but i dont know about surfing specially if the water you surf doesnt get below 45 degrees pretty much a waste of money, right now i surf with a 4/3 O'neil Mutant its pretty comfortable takes some getting use to but it was well worth 300 dollars |
