Skimboarding can ride waves, so does surfboarding? Then why surf?


Is there much difference between skimming and surfing?

in skimboarding you go into the wave, and thats only for really good people anyways. surfing u go faster, ride bigger waves, and the wave carries you from behind. there pretty different if u think about it.
skimboards cant ride waves... i think
skmboards can ride waves but its usually for a pretty short distance compared to surfing theyre just different sports if you like surfing surf if you like skimming skim also i started paddling because im a runner not a swimmer and paddling got old
