Can head lice live in a swimming pool?
My neighbors relatives came to my house to swim in our above ground pool and then she found out they had head lice. Can head lice live in a chlorinated swimming pool?
No they will not live in your pool. They attach themselves to hair follicles. Head lice are very common. They have nothing to do with personal hygiene.. they just jump across onto the nearest head indiscriminately.. all the best people in town can get them.
FYI lice do NOT jump.
Ask your mom not me
the chlorine kills all organisms
No, they cannot. They need warmth and a host.
if the pool is cleaned properly then no, but if it is not then there is the possibility for the lice to survive that is why you should make sure wherever you swim is properly clean
