Do professional swimmers use latex or sillicon caps and why? For the professional in all comes down to preference. Their sponsor will provide them with whatever kind of cap they prefer. I would guess that most elite-level swimmers prefer silicone caps, as it wrinkles less than latex caps do. Silicone is what our college team hands out for championships. My answer is corecct! Swimmer ive used latex for eight years... i fits on my head easier. it stretches further and doesnt move once it goes on. silicon is thicker and harder to put on. but yeah. thats my opinion. =] |
