Anyone know of a 50 yard/meter pool open to the public in southern california (I live in Long Beach)?
I really want to work out in a 50 meter pool...the one's I have located have 25 yard/meter lanes.
You are in Southern California...are you kidding?! There's 50 meter pools everywhere. Two of the best: Mission Viejo has the US Olympic swim development program (pool is open to the public in the afternoons). Even better is the Rose Bowl Aquatic Center, in Pasadena, which has two side by side 8-lane 50-meter pools, both of which are open to the public every day.
Get online - I'll bet you a new pair of goggles that there's one right on Long Beach - on campus at Long Beach State is a good guess! |
