I can't even swim!?!?!? |
Well I kinda can but not good at all. And I have NEVER been in water over my head. How can I learn to swim!?!? I'm 13 and I can't swim.........HELP!!! if you are interested in swimming better, then you can join a swim team. the coaches will teach you the right techniques to use when swimming and how to swim the certain style. there will be people you age and under but no one can accept people to be able to swim perfectly the first time learning the techniques. when i started the swim team i was thirteen. i wasn't the best but i tried really hard. And the thing that really helped me was the people that were they鈥檙e trying to lean to swim better too. They were really nice and if you joined the swim team I would think the other swimmers would be nice to you and help you. i have been swimming on a swim team for a year, i have gotten better but still am not the best. the thing you have to do if you really want to swim well is practice. i hope this helped good luck! go to a local pool, and ask to sign up for private swim lessons. This way, you can learn to swim, without others knowing you can't... have your friends teach you. that's what i did for my friend. and i'm 14. at our age, it's easy to teach&learnh I'm 25 and I can float... that's it. Have somebody who can swim and is patient take you to a lake when nobody is there and teach you. It's not so bad not knowing, I know other people who can't, and I don't like to put my head underwater. Last night I had a dream I went swimming and put my head under and, like usual, was disoriented. I calmly came back up, but I've really dislike it since I was a baby. I think it would be worth it for you to get used to it, there's no reason not to learn. Someday you might fall off a ship and be glad you did. Try to practice in the shallow end |
