Diving in Thailand?

I will be in Thailand for a week in July. Any recommendations for good places to dive that are not too touristy or full of kids, with other attractions nearby for another person who does not dive?

i dive in thailand thats where i learned although pattaya beach is a well known place for diving and diving schools i prefer koh sumie island it takes about 1 hour to fly there from bankok and cost around $100 for a round trip ticket lots of places to stay lots of places to dive and although it still has a nightlife its alot more low key then pattaya and alot less crowded enjoy i wish i was going with you
p.s. there are alot of things to do there
i bring my wife and 18 yr old daughter there with me and they always find things to do lots of shopping and tourist thing's it is a family friendly place if you are bringing your wife or any kids you probably want to avoid places like pattaya and phuket they are known for adult nightlife as well as diving
You do not need to go further than Bangko for a good dive.

Oh, didn't you mean m**f diving?
