Who thinks WaterPolo doesnt get enough credit??? |
i LOVE the sport and cry for the day i can no longer play. its so sad because so many people have NO idea what water polo is! they are like, "isnt that the game with horses?" i have several friends in football and they swear up and down football is a more physical sport. it grant them it is a tough game, but water polo is more still. look at that game in the olypmics a while back, was is athens? i cant remeber. the pool was tinted red by blood! in almost every game i have been in, i come out with new scratches and bruises. some teams are more brutal then others and purposly hurt you.( i hate them. its so cheap) i say be rough(cuz there is no other way to play the game if your too nice) but dont be a bi*ch. it is a game of skill and strategy. it takes a lot of strength to play this game and i hate that no one gives its due! it is more well-known then, say, even ten years ago when i started but not as much as i would hope. Dude water polo is amazing and the fact that not that many people know about it is very sad, and it takes physical strength and mental strength to play water polo because you have to be strong to fight off other players and make sure you don't drown or give away the ball and you have to think about what your going to do with the ball when your playing, while in football all you need is physical strength and all you do is run back and forth and do what you coach tells you. I am just unhappy i didn't discover the sport sooner but luckily alot of my swim friends got me into it Source(s): Competitive swimmer for 7 years, Water polo player for 2 years Why did the Polish water polo team lose so often?
