Is swimming good for weak legs? |
my so called "aunt" told me i walked funny(like i have a penis up my butt)lol..and she said she thinks i have weak legs..then last night and today i started swimmin every night for 2 days..is swimming good for weak legs?will it make you walk better?should i swim more? because i think i have weak legs because i tried skipping and i couldnt..oh yh im swimming and stretchching my legs and doing some yoga stuff is that good? swimming is a great exercise for your entire body, and especially your legs.Swimming is good exercise, period. Keep at it, and don't listen to your aunt's opinions. i really think it is. its been proven that swimming is one of the best workouts that you can do because not only do you work your arms and legs, but its also a cardio workout as well. yoga makes you more flexible. yeah it's very good for weak legs if you kick. well, a couple things, yes swimming will help a little but more or less it is for endurance and toning. however one thing that helps is a stronger lower back and stronger core (abs, obliques). a long time multi-sport athlete and swim coach |
