Where can i go snorkeling in southern california? |
This will be our first time and i want to make it easy but fun. If you are near San Diego, go to La Jolla. There is a small, shallow and sheltered cove down ther that I think is called Baby Beach. If you are farther North, try Newport Dunes campground off Jeffery Drive. It is away from the main beach off of the estuary and has a nice sand bottom. For the best clarity, go to Catalina Island and snorkle Lovers Cove near the town of Avalon. It is just East of the main pier where the Catalina Express docks. Wet suits are available to rent at the cove. Sure!!, If you don't mind sharks, sting rays, jelly fish, rip current, undertows, and cloudy water. Maybe you should go to SeaWorld instead or surf were your above water... |
