"I've often thought of becoming a golf ball..."Water is the filling up the empty space in the pool, and so it sinks to the pool. we just float in it because water isn't as dense. yea what he said colder water is more dense, ergo it sinks. warmer water is less dense, so it rises elementary physics When you are filling the pool, the water will sink. Gravity operates on water and water will seek the lowest level. If you are talking about water already in the pool, the colder water will sink. If you are talking about water in the form of ice...the ice will float. |
