Is a swim cap with chin strap better suited for very long (past waist) & thick Hair ?? before i cut my hair, my hair was down to my waist and really thick but i still used normal swim caps. sometimes i had to get my hair wet before because it helps the cap get on easier and it also stays on better that way i think. also you might have to stretch your swim cap out a bit before you put it on because it has to cover a lot of hair. =]] also i use silicon caps because they are stronger for girls like us with the thick long hair. Source(s): im a competitve swimmer. You're still better off with a regular cap in my book. It'll take an extra minute or 2 to tuck it all under there but it'll fit. Try jumping in and getting your hair wet first before putting the cap on--it'll make it much easier to keep your hair up while pushing it in. No idea, but don't cut it, most men will admitt to finding long hair (in nice condition) terribly sexy! On a serious note, use a silicone swim cap not a rubber one. as it sticks to the hair less :) |
