My pool is very cloudy and I have spent a fortune. What more can I do??? |
I use Bacquacil and have been advised everything from PH add to phosphate remover. I have spent a fortune on chemicals and still have cloudy water, I know that my pool filter has a lot to do with it, but would really like some advise 9 out of 10 Baquacil users will have this problem. The one person that says it's the best stuff they ever used is always the exception and not the rule. Unfortunately you need to use a Baquacil compatible shock to the pool. Baquacil is also a coagulant and flocculate. This means that it tends to gum up filtration parts with sticky goo, for lack of a better term. This promotes bacterial growth in the pipes, filtration system, and in areas that it collects. About the best recommendation I can give you is to switch to a traditionally chlorinated pool. I can help you do this but it can be expensive initially in the chemicals needed. If you would like to retain the Baquacil then please send me the test results of your water and maybe we can figure something out to clear it up. My email is robandliz1992@yahoo.com Source(s): Registered CPO (Certified Pool Operator) with the National Swimming Pool Federation http://www.nspf.com/ and maintaining public access swimming pools for many years now. stop peeing in it Take a sample of your water to your local pool company. They will test your water and tell you whats going on. Also explane to them how the water look's and you can't afford to spend alot of money to fix it. They should be able to help you.
