Would it be bad for a person with posion oak to swim in a swimming pool? |
would it be bad for a person with posion oak to swim or would it hurt him It will spread poison oak to others. it is fine because depending on how strong the chlorine and other chemicals that are in the pool the poison will not likely spread it may actually help you feel better as the the cold water will soothe the itchy annoyance of poison. If the pool has the proper amount of chlorine it should kill any of the skin that is sluffed off. Since poison Oak is spread by contact caution is advised. I don't think so. It definitely won't spread to other people if that's what you're worried about. and it might actually feel good to you. I got it once and I took a bath and that helped so I don't think swimming should be much different. |
