How can i make my own weights that go in the water?

these weights need to weight alot

Actually, they don't need to weigh a lot.

I took a water aerobics class (I took it with some friends and we were the youngest in the class) and we used Styrofoam weights with and plastic bar in the middle. The Styrofoam came in various sizes to give more resistance under water. You can probably either make them yourself or check out a sporting goods store to see if they have them.
sounds like a suicidal attempt to me.
Fill plastic milk jugs with water. You can do gallons/half gallons...etc to make as heavy a weight as you want to.

Guessing you're doing water aerobics? :)
Well they don't have to weigh alot. I teach aqua fitness and the "weights" that we use are actually made up of Styrofoam. It's all about water resistance and if the object is buoyant then it'll force you to use more energy and strength to move them underwater. Even noodles will do the trick although they don't provide that much resistance. If you have a boogie board you can do different exercises such as pushing it up and down under water in the front and behind, pushing and pulling it away from you and if you have a partner you can also play a game of tug of war which will work your arms and your legs at the same time. Anyways I hope that helped ^^ Good luck
Wear work out clothes that you don't really care about getting ruined. I do this at practice all the time. It is basically like a drag suit. Wear a big Tee and shorts, the t-shirt carries you down and It's a very nice workout.
