chlorine floater was dumped out in pool last night and not discovered until this AM about 14 hrs later. Now have a bright white spot on floor of pool.
Other than bleaching the color from that spot there shouldn't be any lasting effects. However, you can feel this spot with your toes and if it feels brittle you may need to patch the area just to be on the safe side.
Normally it takes a couple days to harm the liner itself but this could be shortened depending on the age of the liner, concentration of the pucks, chemistry of the pool, etc.

Concentrated Chlorine will bleach the color out of Plastic (liner), But shouldn't hurt it beyong just the color.
