What is the best way to dive off the board for a beginner?

I have never dived off a board, but have done a sit dive off the side. What is the best way to dive of the board for a beginner, and how do I build up courage?

Could You Please help me and Give me a few Tips?

You can try sitting on the end of the diving board first and leaning off. It's just as if you were learning to dive from the side of the pool. Start sitting, than kneeling and then standing. Remember to keep your arms over your ears in the diving position and keep your chin to your chest. Good luck ^^
First go to the edge and stand there get brave then fold your hands breath and close your eyes bend your legs and fall.
do an eggroll off the small dive. you can never mess those up.
jus dnt think about it. take a deep breath. think postitive. n dive n head first. personally i dnt dive i jus jump n. im scared 2 dive so i should b takin this advice myself. hahaha. but newayz good luck :)
a regaler dive : 1.start with your feet 2gether on the edge of the board.
2.jump off the board with ur body arched
and thas all
learn from swimmin lessons
build up in steps:

1. stand at side, put arms straight close to your ears, bend down trying to get fingertips to touch water(if you're felixable enough) and dive in

2. gradually go up higher until your standing ( you can move to the board then or stay on side)

3. if you're still scared go through the steps again on the board.
