Can you swim in the pool with the pump on? |
I have heard if you have the pump plugged in on your above ground pool that you will get shocked and you must unplug it first, is that true?? No Way! The wet end of the pump does no even touch electrical parts or wires. They are completely separated. You are completely safe and have nothing to worry about. I actually recommend the pump running when you are swimming. Take Care, Michael Silvester Source(s): http://www.greenpooltips.com/ no we swim with it on all the time hi, with your question i believe so... the pump might suck you in!!! (just joking) do you mean electric shock?? because if you do, (mean electirc shock) i know it can happen but its not accasionally that this would occur... bella p.s hope it helps ;) yes we do it all the time pool experts If you are getting electrical shock, then there is something dramatically wrong with your pool's electrical system. But, if there is no shock (and there should not be) it is perfectly safe to swim with the pump on. All public pools MUST have the pump on to circulate the water while the pool is in use. If the pump stops, the pool is usually closed until repaired. |
