How long is the girls volleyball court? |
How long is the girls volleyball court? 18 meters by 9 meters is correct, but so is 60 feet by 30 feet. It all depends on who set up the lines in the gym. They are virtually the same length. Source(s): I coach volleyball The game is played on a volleyball court 18 metres long and 9 metres wide, divided into two 9 x 9 metre halves by a one-metre wide net placed so that the top of the net is 2.43 metres above the centre of the court for men's competition, and 2.24 metres for women's competition (these heights are varied for veterans and junior competitions). http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/volleyball#... each side is 9m x 9m, so the entire length would be 18m. 30x30 feet for each half and the whole court is 30x60 ft The court dimension is uniform internationally 18x9 meters which is 59'0"x29'6", with an attack line on each side 3 meters from the center line. USAV net height: Net height for female 60+ is 2.13m. Net height for female 45 to 59 is 2.19m. Net height for female 13 to 44 is 2.24 meters(7'4.125").
