How do I create a schedule for a 10 week summer league with 11 teams on 2 nets? ok I think I can figure this out. Round 1 (Peliminaries) There are 3 divisions. Two with 4 teams and One with 3 teams. Each team plays the teams in there division. Round 2 (Power pools) After the best team of each division would form its own division. The other 5 teams would do the same. Then they do the same thing they each play each other. Once the 2 round is over. You class each team from 1 to 11 Round 3 (Round of 10) The team wich is classed last is eliminated. The teams classed 1st and 2nd get a bye witch means they don't play that round. The games are: 3 vs 10, 4 vs 9, 5 vs 8, 6 vs 7. The team that loses is eliminated. Round 4 (quarter finals) Game 1:The team ranked 1st plays the winner of the 3 vs 10 game Game 2:The team ranked 2nd plays the winner of 4 vs 9 Game 3:The winner of 5 vs 8 plays the winner of 6 vs 7 Round 5 (semi-finals) The winner of game 1 gets a bye The winner of game 2 plays the winner of game 3 Round 6 ( Finals) Game 1 winner vs winner of semi finals game Source(s): It might seem complicated but if you can figure it out it will work fine. Good Luck with the season! I would just play a round robin with some teams playing twice on one day. If you want playoffs, I would only take the top 4 and leave just one week. If you want everyone in the playoffs, leave 2 weeks. Schedule the league for 9 weeks and leave 1 week for the playoffs. In 9 weeks, the 11 team round robin would be 55 matches or 8 weeks of 6 matches with 1 week of 7. email me. I'll email you some pool sheet & bracket sheet. by the way, how many nite/week, & how many game/nite will play? EMAIL ME. Give one team a buy each week (that means that they don't play that week), obviously rotating which team has the buy. Then with the 10 teams that remain, have two games go at a time, then two more games, and then the final game for that day. Make sure every team plays all the others. |
