Where can I practice volleyball around the house? |
I was playing where I bounced it against the roof of the garage, but that gave me some bad habits. My dad came home this weekend and he started practicing with me and I realized I had taught myself to hit to the garage and not a person. I don't have a tall wall to hit against, so that's not an option. None of my friends are very good at volleyball so it makes me worse instead of better when I try and practice with one of them. What should I do? Where are some good places to practice? Do you have a hill near your house? Our house is on a hill, so my daughter would stand at the bottom of the hill and practice her serving. The ball would roll back down to her. find some friends who are on the volleyball team and practice with them. even people who have played volleyball but don't play it anymore. i do it all the time put soem hula hoops in the yard and practice serving, passing and hitting to them. it gets your control and aim better. i do it all the time and i have become a better passer because of it. If you have a drive way hit it to where it wont hit a car. A Hill is best where to hit. i am a setter and to practice my aim i stand at different places away from a basketball goal and practice setting into it. it works my aim, my heigth and my patience. setter |
