Where can I find some two-man Sand Volleyball pick-up games in Galveston?


Heading down to Galveston Saturday, with some friends but I don't want to miss my weekly fix of two-man Sand Volleyball. Where can I play along the Seawall or especially in Freeport/Surfside since I know to expect traffic on I-45.

There is this rest stop off of I-45 before you get to the bridge. I hear there is a lot of two-man volleyball going on there at night, if that is what you're looking for....
hey im plannin on makin a trip to Galveston too this weekend =) ... usually on Stewarts beach there are a few games going ... but im not sure where else there would be some ... maybe you could call some friends up and see if they want to have a mini tourniment ... like 3 or 4 matches ... idk ... not much of a volleyball player myself ... but have fun this weekend and use sunscreen so you dont burn =)

League City Parks Department runs sand leagues. Contact the director to see what levels are available. (It used to be Mike the last I heard. He is a long time volleyball player.) I know it is not Galveston, but it is close and I have heard some good players play there.
