Can u increase your vertical jump by doing squats?

does doing squats increase or decrease my vertical jump???

It can. Last winter I did some research on jump training because we have started to use it in our volleyball programs, and I find that it works well if used correctly.
Yes because with the toning that you do with squats it tones the muscles that you use in your legs to jump higher!
You should do plyometric training. It will increase your explosive power and increase your vertical
yes it works the calf and the mucsles in your legs
if you're strengthening the leg muscle then ya. another way to increase your jump is to strengthen legs by tredding water. Also make sure that you use your abs when jumping this will add up to 3 inches no lie.
yes because your creating muscle in your legs and then you can jump higher because you have more muscle to push up with when you jump to spike it
no honey, it will just tone your thighs. If you want to improve your jump, get a chunk of wood about 2 inches thick by about 6 inches and just take the ball (front) of your feet and stand on it and then push yourself up do that about 10 times then rest. its tiring but it really helps.
