Explain how u will deal with your friend who has fallen and injure his nose which is bleeding? Support his head with one hand under his chin and apply pressure at the bottom of the hard part of the nose. Don't be afraid to pinch. Take him/her to a bathroom (maintain pressure)... start to wipe up the blood and mess. Do not let him swallow to hard. And do not let him blow his nose (this will break the clot). If it doesn't stop bleeding after about 5 minutes. Taken him to the urgent care. Remember pressure is the key. Maintain pressure, and don't remove. Make sure he/she sees a doctor as well. There is a chance he could have hurt himself/herself worse than they know. Source(s): Volleyball Coach 3 years. Player 12. I've had my share of bloody nosed friends. take him to the doctor. No do not put them on their back because they will drowned in their blood. I know because I broke my nose trying to ice skate and they tried to hold me down until I spit a huge amount of blood all over them. No I did not go to the doctor but probably should have. You can apply pressure so long as the injured person can handle it and have them lean slightly forward to stop the bleeding. Get them to a doctor to evaluate the severity of the nose injury. Never pinch the nose and lean back as this could cause them to drown in their own blood. volleyball question? you let him look down a little so the blood will go out and do whatever you can then bring him to the doctor.. get him something to 'catch' his blood in so its not all over him. and then bring him to a trainer or a doctor |
