Is it legel to hit a volleyball with one hand while playing in a game? Well, an over head pass, yeah. it depends on how you hit it... its legal unless you "lift" which means basically palm it upwards from under the ball. But otherwise, you can hit the ball with one hand If you're spiking it, dinking it, or rolling it then it's legal. If you have to bend your elbow below the ball and bring it up then it's not a legal hit. You can get a dig with one hand and so i nthat case you would be lifting your elbow but your hand should be closed in a fist or it should hit the top of your hand, can't hit the palm and go up. Yes it is, it is part of the game. It is called a spike It can be legal or it could be foul depending on the situation. Usually, the only times a player will hit with one hand is the serve or when hitting (spiking the ball). A better question might be: do I want to hit the ball with one hand during a game? Although it is legal to punch the ball with a closed fist or use the back of your hand to lift the ball, you get much more control by passing with your forearms or overhead with both hands. Usually, one-handed digs are reserved for desperation players where you only have time or reach to get one arm to the ball. yes, most definatley, i mean, think of a spike! but, unless u are doing a spike, you usually only want to hit the ball with one hand as a LAST resort only!!! yah... just dont hit it twice... and do the spike.. its much better if your using one hand... keep it up... laila... |
