Have you ever been to a volleyball camp if so tell me your experience? i sure have :] it helped so much. i was a freshman, just starting volleyball. me and my friend were the only freshman there...so we werent very respected. lol. we were at a college capmus, so when we got there we got lost lol. we finally found the rest of the team, and had about 1 min to get ready. if we hadent of got lost we would have had much more time. we walked to this big training gym... it had lots of nets set up- like 30. we got assinged at this one net on the oppisite side. for about 5-6 hours we practiced volleyball, doing differnt drills. then we went and ate lunch. they had about every food aviable- i loved it!! then we went back and practiced for a few more hours, then went back to the dorms. there was only two bathrooms in the building. so it took a while to take a shower. then me and my friend talked and played around all night. then set our alarms, since they werent going to come wake us up. the next day we did the same thing we did the day before. then the last day we had a compitition- it was very hard because i was doing it with varsity (i was at JV level.) it was fun though :] we didnt end up winning... after all the matches were done (we played about 5 or 6) we sat down in this huge crowd, and they voted best sideout cheer. then they announced winners of the camp compitition, then we got to see the national U.S. team.. then we went back home. it was REALLY fun. i recommend it :] im doing it agian this year. Source(s): experience Yes, I went to a volleyball camp a couple weeks ago. It was pretty fun. We learned the basics over again. I have been playing for 4 years now, so it wasn't too challenging. But, we served, hit, blocked, played scrimmages, and did a lot of jumping and sprints. I'm on my way to another camp soon and i was told it would be a lot more challenging. So my best advice is to listen and get ready. Whatever don't give up. waste of money...nothing you can't do yourself at home.. yea i have gone to club and college camps..i've been playing for 5 years and any chance i get to practice is great. Even if you do the basics over again..it only helps you become a better player..it may be boring but its what the college & pro players do yes, we hav a great time they first exersice then the give u those hittin routin its hard it hurt when i ran in2 the net |
