What is the difference between balss for volleyball? |
I know that is a difference between indoor volleyball and beach volleyball, regarding weight and size of the ball, but i don't know which is it. The above answer is correct. The outdoor ball is also heavier so that it is not affected by the wind. And they usually have a water treatment worked into the ball in case you play near the water. The beach volley-ball is softer (lower internal pressure) and slightly bigger than an indoor volleyball. but our club used mikasa v-balls and they were really soft, suede almost (a similar question was asked not too long ago) here's another website with more info, just in case: http://www.abc.net.au/news/olympics/spor... (add the htm at the end) http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/beach_volle... beach volleyballs are softer and seem to be bigger and slightly heavier....indoor volleyballs have a thinner skin and are usually much harder to the touch Here's the difference: A beach volleyball is lighter and has a vinyl cover, while a indoor volleyball is heavier and is made out of leather. Also, an indoor volleyball is more expensive than an outdoor volleyball. beach volleyballs dont hurt as much if u spike it in someones face |
