Is it easier to serve with a beach ball?

i can always get my serve over and powerful with a beach ball on sand and stuff...

but when i play indoor i can barely get the ball over the net.

is there a difference?

Most beach courts are 5 feet smaller than the indoor courts. Since the beach volleyballs have less air, they feel more springy and will probably go over easier. The beach ball is heavier than the indoor ball so that they are not influenced by the wind.

Another factor is the mental factor. Indoors looks so much further to the net. Outdoors, you do not have any perspective to judge the distance. Since you think you can get your serve over outdoors and you think that you can not get the serve over indoors, your mind will make it so.Actually, It's harder. the beach volleyball has a harder core than the indoor volleyball.Well, I wouldn't blame the ball cause the court in the sand volleyball is smaller than the one in the gym.
the net might be higher indoor plus a beach ball is lighter than a volleyball but its harder to play wit a beach ball so you should be gettin them over wit out a problem
I don't really know, because I have only played vollyball with a beach ball. But I guess not. The wind could move it to somewhere else, because its just full of air.
no difference, the beach ball is just a little harder. It all in your mind, just keep practicing you will get it over.
No because a beach ball is huge. A volleyball fits your hand form and allows you to hit it much nicer than a beach ball does. Hope this helps.
