Is ok to wear basketball shorts to a volleyball camp? |
to practice in i really dont like vball shorts but i do like basketball shorts but i love volleyball so much i play both bball and vball and went to vball camp before high school tryouts and i wore mostly basketball shorts. you will be surprised how many people wear them. it doens't really matter, cause im not much of a spandex fan myself. and if u want something in between, try and get some Soffee shorts. they're light weight, short, but better than spandex. =] Wear what you're comfortable with -- especiallly if it's just for practice. Even though basketball shorts are more comfortable to you right now, if you wear the volleybll shorts, you will feel more comfortable wearing them. Experienced v-ball players will take you more seriously if you wear the volleyball shorts.take it from me- I have been playing for seven years. if it really bothers you though to wear the vball short, just wear the bball shorts. whatever you think you will play better in. best of luck! hope i helped! :) every one around you will be wearing spandex. im going to a volleyball camp on the 8th and plan on wearing running shorts half the time because it is more comfortable. if you dont mind being one of the few people not wearing spandex. then go for it. i like spandex when im diving becuase i know they wont slide around..but when i know im not going to be doing alot of diving and i know im doing alot of hitting and blocking i like the running shorts because they dont ride up.. btw..i love volleyball a bunch too If you mean the spandex volleyball shorts and you are not comfortable wearing them, then go with the basketball ones. Not all girls are comfortable wearing skin tight spandex, my husband coached and even for games if someone wasnt comfortable , they were allowed to wear other ones, as long as they were the same color. Good luck at camp! Yeah, if they're long enough, you don't have to wear the knee pads. in practice, whatever your comfortable in is fine...spandex is important in games though |
