Whos ur sccr idol on the womens naticnal team and sccr is not called football? |
soccer is not called football It depends are we talking current players or all players. If were talking current I'd have to say Wambach and Lilly. Wambach because we play the same position and i like her playing style. Lilly because she just works her behind off, she's got 30 caps that's saying something she holds the record for most caps for both Men and Women. If were talking All-time It's Mia and Akers. Mia because I liked the way she played and she's holds the record for most goals by a single person, Hell she's got more then Pele if you can't respect and Idolize that then your mental. Akers because even though she had the Fatigue problem(can't remember it's official name) she always played hard and left everything on the feild no matter how bad she was feeling she still played her heart out. i have none 脝 Lilly I'm embarassed by my fellow Americans that believe that if we make a name for a sport that we didn't come up with then the real name isn't right. Yes, I call European Football Soccer and American Football Football, but I know that the real, and first, football is played on the pitch. European football has been around a lot longer than American football and it's been called football longer. Plus, it's a game in which the foot and the ball have regular contact. Unlike American football which is really inadequately named. I like the answer previous to mine. But to answer the other part of it, I got reeled into the team by watching Cindy Parlow, a very physical player who also has height to her advantage, so she can head the ball quite well. However, with the new head coach, I feel our game has gotten infinitely faster, and the players are freer to experiment. This is nice, but it also exposes Cindy's weakness, her lack of speed. All that said, I am a Portland Pilots fan from San Diego, and Angie Woznuk is a Pilot from near San Diego. New fave. http://www.portlandpilots.com/sports/wso... |
