Who is the first nigerian to score a goal in world cup goal ?
In the men's FIFA World Cup, the first goal by Nigeria was scored by Rasheed Yekini in the 21st minute vs. Bulgaria in the 2002 held in the United States of America. Nigeria won the game, and in fact their group, and advanced to the round of 16 where they were defeated by Italy in extra time on a Robert Baggio penalty.
Nigeria has never qualified for the FIFA Women's World Cup, so no Nigerian has ever scored in that competition.
