Why do some people say that soccer is only for guys?

Because they are narrow minded.

I don't agree.
They say that because in all the foreign countries.. ONLY guys play soccer.
Not sure that they do...my 7 year old plays soccer in a league with 9-10 year olds. She scored 3 goals the other day and played goalie for a while. She shut them out the remainder of the game.

She's great at it...and she can outplay most boys as well.
Because Its a mans game.DO u think the people that invented soccer wanted it to be a Unisex sport.Its only modern sports like hockey that allows such a thing

because they're right. to play football is about the most ungraceful thing a woman can do. it just doesn't look like football at all. more like randomly arsing about with a ball.

please note that I am in no way the male chauvinist pig this answer makes me seem to be. I know my gender studies and all the rest of it. it's just that some minor aesthetic values have to be kept.
