She would have been 32 years old. That was a sad day when Mia Hamm retired :( i only know that she was 15 when she started playing for the US I belive she retired in 2004 after the athens olympics Hamm ended her career as the most prolific scorer - male or female - in international football, with 158 goals in 276 games for the US. She was twice Fifa women's player of the year and won the World Cup in 1991 and 1999 and two Olympic golds. In that year 2004 she helped her team with a 5 -0 win over mexico |
