Tryout tips for travel team for goal keeper 12yr old girl soccer(football)?

My 12 yr old Daughter has played soccer for the past 5 years, 3 of those years were on a travel team. However she has never had to tryout because she has had the same coach the whole time. She is a fantastic goalkeeper and defensive player. Please give any advice or tips on what the coaches are looking for and what to do to impress them.
She is very confident and aggressive. Thanks for any suggestions.

if your daughter played for 5 years she should have no problem getting on the team just tell her to play her best. If they have more than one day for the tryouts make it to all of them. The coaches want someone who they know will show up and want to play. My son just tried out for a traveling team. he also played for about 5 years but the team he played for before traveled but he did not need to try out so he just finished three days of tryouts for the team and we are now waiting to find out if he made it. Good luck to your daughter they are looking for kids that are enthusiastic about playing
if she is as good of a goalie As you say she will have know problem getting on that team she we do great. just tell her to do the best she can and cheer her on.
Ok..football is my life...to me a good goalkeeper is one which could also cover for his/her defence as a sweeper and should also be good in one-on-one with attackers moreover positioning is exteremely important for a goalkeeper which is something you acquire by continuous practice (play time during matches) b4 it becomes an instinct...plus,she has to perfect the easy stuff like being able to kick beyond half pitch and accurately, throw the ball accurately..and having the leadership character required to motivate the team and instruct them...and never giving up...
being a goalkeeper requires as much attitude practice as drill practice...but don't worry as long as she's practicing daily most of this stuff will come naturally..just keep her up to date with all the good goalies(cassilas,barthez,dida,... let her watch them...she'll eventually learn(imprinting) from them and get her own style formed..and don't forget that imagining situations is an extremely important practice...it is said that Ruminigue imagined all his goals b4 actually going on the pitch and scoring them in the world cup for germany...research more abt this point because it's extremely vital in modern sport...
anyways..best of luck...and i admire peopl who admire the beautiful game
Your daughter should really decide if she wants to be a goalie or a field player. if she want's to be a goalie, she can get goalie training. If she wants to be a field player, then she seems like she is good to go. I have played soccer since i was 4. i play on a club team and have been playing on the same club team since i was 9. I lvoe soccer and hopefully your daughter will just practice. It seems like she is very good. Coaches are looking for people who stand out and take control during the try-outs. Tell your daughter to talk to the other girls while scrimmaging and playing. Work her absolute hardest because that is what coaches are looking for!!!
Good luck!!
Most coaches are looking for someone who really wants to play and it's very good that she is confident because ALOT of coaches look for that. GOOD LUCK!!!!!!!!
since she has played it for i while tryouts should be no big deal. i have tried out with the Arkansas Comets for the past 3 years and it was really easy. basically it if they get new players it is to see how far ahead or behind they are from the old players.
I am a kid almost her age (a little older), and I love soccer too! I think that soccer is the best sport ever! My advice to her is to do her best and don't give up even if she doesn't make it!
