Was anyone else sad when the WUSA ended?

I loved watching the women's pro league in the US, and now that its gone, they have nowhere but the national team.

I loved watching the games, and dreaming of sometime playing for one of the teams. Hopefully they'll start it up again soon.
ME!! I think i remember wanting to literly cry! I was a huge Washington Freedom fan and when I heard the WUSA folded it was a sad sad day and I was throughly depressed by it. I went to 2003 Women's World Cup Opener a couple of weeks later and there were a lot of girls in Freedom shirts (the game, USA vs Sweden, was held at RFK Stadium in Washington DC) and it was sad because these girls now didn't have a pro-league to find role models. The USA isn't the only country that needs the WUSA, the whole world does so young girls all over have a goal and dream in the soccer world!
i'm freakin pissed off soccer is my life and if theres no future for me going pro in the us that just sad
i was really disappointed and still am
yer i love watchin chicks play.. especailly when they make bone-crunchin tackles..against men..so i hope it does start up again ...im from austraila so i dont really know this league is...
