What is your opinion about Mia Hamm Is She a good role model and further......... I Think she is the perfect Idol for Young girls especialy the that wanne do sport She was a great player is a beautiful women and a good human Also she did a lot for the promotion of womensoccer think about the mia hamm foundation. I believe she is and will continue to be one of the greatest role models not just for girls who play soccer but for all young girls aspiring to be athletes. She came from a middle class military family and despite not having female role models of her own she played with her brother and his friends in pick up games. She has shown millions of little girls and even young boys that despite all odds one can achieve greatness and stand in the spot light and still be humble about it. the mia hamm foundation not only helps promote womens soccer but also bone marrow transplant, in honor of her biggest fan, her brother Garrett. Again, she shows the world that when one is in the spot light and looked up at by millions of people, one needs take the responsibility and make a difference. Greatest womens player ever. She was fast, tough and had a scorers mentality. She came up in soccer at the right time - just when the game caught fire in the media. I have four daughters that played and I coached for twelve years.
