Scottish Womens Football?

Am I correct to think that Hearts were associated with a ladies football team a few years back and if so what happened to them. Have any other professional sides in Scotland got a ladies team.

There was a team called Hailes Edinburgh Tyne Castle and Bonneting Rose but I don't now if they know if they where part of Hearts FC or just had Tyne castle in the name. In 1999 they changed the name to Whitehill..The Hearts site has no info on women's teams. The SFA has 30 women's teams registered at senior..... hope it helps not really answered your question thou

It's perfectly understandable that you might have confused Heart of Midlothian with a bunch of girls playing football.
its good to have a women's football game.
but not too many woman now are willing to
participate...better to stay at home and watch tv than to be at the game...
