What is the roster for Ireland's senior women's soccer team? You dont mention whether you mean the Republic of Ireland or Northern Ireland, but I will assume from your question that you are American and therefore probably mean the first. First, there is no such thing as a a fixed team "roster" for any European national soccer team, either mens or womens. Instead, what happens is that a couple of weeks before a scheduled match the national coach selects a group of about 22 players, known as the "squad". This selection is based on current playing form at their individual club teams, and inevitably the best players will be picked regularly...so in that respect it is a little like a fixed "roster" because the selection is normally quite predictable. The starting eleven players are usually choosen a few hours before the match, the others are on the substitutes' bench.
