Anyone know any cool info on Mia Hamm or any fan websites? |
i respect mia Hamm imensely as she is a female athlete and wanted to get more information about her. Like what are some accomplishments she has made? What was her child hood like? What will come in the future? If you know her e-mail or how to find it that would be even better. Its really good and you will learn soo much about her. She was born on St. Patrick's day. Her older brother Garrett was a huge role model to her. He would invite her to play in pickup soccer games andshe would be his "secret weapon" because she was so good. She started playing for the national team at age 15 after being discovered by Anson Dorrance, who became like her mentor. She has more goals than any other soccer player in international matches, and was still going strong when she retired after the Olympics. She has led the team to 2 olympic golds, a world cup title, olympic silver, and world cup bronze. She's pretty quiet but VERY competitive, and leads by example and is really respected by all her teammates. She has great work-ethic also. ok i could continue forever, but you'll learn all this from the book. i realllly reccommend it, especially if you enjoy soccer. it is really inspiring. man she can write!! some good answers shes married to Nomahhhh |
