ENGLAND women's team still has one more qualifying match in the 2007 FIFA Women's World Cup UEFA European Group 5 aganist FRANCE on Saturday, 30 September 2006 at Rennes, France.

ENGLAND are the UEFA European Group 5 leaders with 19 points from 7 matches while FRANCE has 16 points from 7 matches. ENGLAND need only a draw in this last qualifying match as only the group winners from European section qualify for the finals.

if ENGLAND lose, then FRANCE will progress although ENGLAND has a far more superior goal difference as FIFA decided if both teams are level on points, then the team which has the better head to head match-ups between the two teams will go thru to the finals.

ENGLAND & FRANCE shared a goalless draw in the earlier qualifying match on 26 March 2006.
