sheffeild united beat arsenal today 1-0 what happened to arsenal? i wanted the blades to win but that game was really unexpected.i thought arsenal eas gonna thrash sheffeild.But you can never know in a game of soccer... I watched the game. Arsenal started without Fabregas in what I think was a sign of the Gunners underestimating the Blades. It was a great goal by Nade and a mistake by Lehmann going out so quickly and leaving the striker with an easy chance. Then when Kenny got injured and Jagielka had to play in goal for half an hour the game won in excitement but Arsenal never troubled the improvised keeper. Wenger is really missing Thierry Henry and a long list of injured players are a couple of things that suggest this result was nothing but a deserved victory for Sheffield United. The pitch was terrible, football is supposed to be played on grass not mud! It didn't help arsenal in playing their style of football, though their tactics were wrong in this game, trying to walk to ball in the net again. Not enough players going for a pop when they get a bit of space! I guess arsenal just wasnt on their best day. They really are a great team. I didn't see the match but I heard that the Blades were playing to win, or die trying. I heard it was a d*mn brutal game. Sometimes it's just a matter of a win meaning more to one team than the other. It happens. Fulham should of beat Chelsea today if it wasn't for that own goal. West Ham beat Manu. wenger say that he doesn't need to buy in the January transfer window????? when will wenger come to his senses and buy some big name players. i know that arsenal have a lot of young talent but thats for the future. wenger needs to buy some serous players if he wants to challenge for the champion ship next season. who are we kidding with these kids. may be arsenal should change their nick name to baby's You can't play two games in 7 days every week and win.. With that "kids" they beat Liverpool, Manchester and many more.. They play great football. You just can't win every time. I think Arsene Wenger knows what he's doing. I believe in him. :) |
