OK can someone fill me in..?

If its Khali, why the hell didnt Smackdown creative grab Orton from Raw, its logical. Orton is the closest thing to Edge, it gives incentive for a returning fued (which ive been dying for). This also means every Kennedy fan is through the roof as hes the only one who could win it.

I know Kane would deserve it the most but it would make sence to give it to orton or kennedy

Khali is new champ
Because they want Batista to be the man to take the strap off of Khali. Believe me, I hate Khali as much as anyone (or everyone), but he'll look good on Batista's resume. I say though instead of Orton, Ken Kennedy should go back to Smackdown and win the title. That would be great, because Kennedy can have great matches with Batista, Matt Hardy, Kane, Undertaker, and Rey Mysterio, the best Smackdown has to offer...
when edge threw that mardegras party he got injured by kane and he now has to vacate it cause hes out for a while.

As we reported moments ago, Edge's "major announcement" regarding the WWE World Heavyweight championship title at tonight's SmackDown tapings is that he will be dropping the title due to suffering a torn pectoral muscle last week.

Candidates to win the title are Mark Henry, Batista, or Matt Hardy. WWE could bring Rey Mysterio back and put the strap back on him immediately, but that would seem to be the most unlikely to happen.
A returning feud is anything but creative, though. Khali makes the most sense right now out of all the contestants considered. Kennedy is still too inexperienced - his character still has a lot of building up to be done.
