Answer:
I don't know where you are but where I'm at it's usually at high tide. Blue crabs follow the tides. Time of day?Like I said not sure where you are but my wife and I do pretty well around 10a.m.-2 p.m. if the tide is up. We also do well on an incoming tide. ~good luck catchin'.

I have forund from experience that they bite best when I am fishing and they steal all my BAIT!!!!
